Yesterday I downloaded a program called Indigo. It's a rendering software that can render photo realistic images. I'm still figuring out how all the materials work, but I did make this:

A Couple Fake UFO Pics

I decided to try to fake some UFO pictures. Here's what I got:

I don't see why anyone even bothers trying to explain UFO pictures nowadays. Pretty much anything can be faked.

My latest project:

I've decided to try working on a transformer. It will start as a cellphone, and end up as a little, bug type robot on wheels.
Pictures will come soon.


Also, I recently purchased Maya Unlimited. It's the most sophisticated 3d modelling software in the world. It's what they use to make movies (LOTR, POTC, etc.) It's really cool, but hard to learn.

I decided to name my Alien Alex, cuz that's a cool name.

"Now, wait a minute, Sam," you might say. "Why is this post called Melvin if the dude's name is Alex?"

Good question.

Because, this post is not about my alien. It is about this guy:

And this guy's name is Melvin. He's pretty much the best face I've ever made. I made a full body, but it didn't turn out so good. Maybe I'll post it here later.

More on Little Alien Dude

My last post wasn't very detailed was it?

This alien dude you see down there was created, textured and rendered with Blender 3d. I made him over the course of maybe 2-3 days (I wasn't working extremely diligently). He has four fingers on each hand.

I still have not thought up a suitable name. Any suggestions?

My latest creation:

A little Alien dude. I'm not sure what I'll do with him yet. I'm still learning the best way to get him to move around.

Any suggestions as to what I should name him? Any criticisism? Any comment whatsoever?

I'm not sure what an accurate discription of this blog would be. I suppose I will discover that as time goes by. Meanwhile, I'll just say that this is where I'll post projects and ideas that I come up with. Enjoy!
